Centralized Material Supply
The PVC automatic supply system in an extrusion plant is an integrated solution for conveying, batching, and feeding raw materials to extruders. It starts with storage silos and bag dumping stations, using pneumatic conveying to move powders. A central batching system (often with loss-in-weight feeders) accurately doses PVC, fillers, and additives before mixing in hot/cold mixers. The dry blend is then conveyed via vacuum or pulse pneumatic lines to each extruder’s hopper. Controlled by a PLC with centralized dust collection, the system ensures consistent quality, reduces dust emissions, lowers labor costs, and enables continuous 24/7 operation.
